WATCH: Homecomings That Will Make You Grateful for Our Armed Services

This past week, we took some time to honor the memories of the 3,000 Americans that lost their lives in the unthinkably evil acts of September 11th, 2001.

But every single day, there are men and women overseas who have voluntarily put their lives on the line and sacrificed a comfortable life at home with their family to keep our nation safe from the countless threats that would no doubt cross our borders were they not there to protect us.

The US military is one that has been demonized constantly, both before and since the events of 9/11, but what many on the left forget is what a powerful force for good our armed forces have also been over the last Century.

Warhawks in Washington may play roulette with the lives of our troops, but we can’t forget that these troops still make the choice, each and every one of them, to take up arms in defense of our nation and Western values of liberty and natural rights across the globe.

Never is their sacrifice more apparent than the moments they return home and are at long last reunited with the ones who drive them to take up this honorable post.

Don’t forget to pray for and appreciate our armed forces every day! Just imagine what life would be like without our military defending our liberty.
