From the onset of his presidency, the Secret Service knew that Donald Trump was the kind of Commander in Chief that would keep them busy.
The unconventional and slightly controversial President has maintained his fair share of detractors and enemies throughout his business career, with many of those naysayers finding themselves galvanized by his ascension to the highest office in the land. Furthermore, a nasty and reprehensible “resistance” movement has sprung up from the ashes of the democratic party in the past 9 months, quickly morphing into an alarming, extremist cult of radical leftists hellbent on attacking the President both figuratively and literally.
A number of threats and plots have been discovered, aimed squarely at The Donald since his inauguration in January. Fence jumpers, Twitter claims, and media mockups of his assassination have plagued our great nation, emboldening those who wish to do harm to our leadership.
Now, an eerie incident has come to light today as a stray vehicle was seen barreling toward the presidential motorcade in Missouri.
Video of the event shows a white car careening from the wooded area to the right side of the screen, blasting through the drainage culvert adjacent to the highway, and coming to a stop before being intercepted by Secret Service agents.
From the clip above, it seems apparent that no harm was meant, and the driver of the vehicle claims that a braking malfunction caused the harrowing incident.
According to the Daily Wire, this sort of attack would never have worked:
“‘But ramming the presidential limo wouldn’t exactly work, anyway. “The Beast,” as it’s known, weighs 20,000 pounds and has armor plating 8 inches thick. Its doors weigh as much as those on a Boeing 757 airplane. The windows are five inches thick and bulletproof windows and the bus-size Goodyear tires are Kevlar-reinforced and can car run even when flat.'”
Regardless of the intent of the driver, the incident had many witnesses shaken.
The President’s security detail cannot be too careful in our modern era, as a number of radical liberals have resorted to violence in order to push their political agenda, the most horrific of which was the assault on GOP congressmen in June by James T. Hodgkinson, a former Bernie Sanders campaign worker who opened fire on a baseball field filled with practicing republican congressmen.
