Michael Avenatti

TV Lawyer Loses His Cool After CNN Editor Calls Him Out

In the circus that the mainstream media has evolved into over the course of the last few years, few characters are quite as one-dimensional as Michael Avenatti.

Now, I’m not saying that the combative tone of the media is entirely scripted, but I have zero doubt that conflict is a big part of the daily battle plan.  Producers need that sort of gristly meat to keep viewers chewing on it, with some mathematically-timed commercial breaks scattered throughout the meal.  It’s a game that they’re playing, and the point is to get as many eyes on that Swiffer Mop or shampoo advertisement as possible.

And this explains why “creepy porn lawyer” Michael Avenatti is constantly on television:  He’s a predictable character in all of this as a gutter-dwelling attorney with aspirations of a higher political fate.  Anchors on CNN and elsewhere know exactly how he wants to steer the conversation, and they can use that information to create conflict live, in realtime, on-air.  It’s a win-win for the cabal of the left; they get good ratings by beating up on a guy who’s in over his head to begin with, so, no harm no foul.

The best part of the whole sham is just now entertaining it is.  For instance, after being called out by a CNN editor on Twitter, Avenatti’s fuse was lit.

And then here’s the fun part:

Should his political aspirations dry up in a similar fashion to Stormy Daniels’ career options, “Avenatti Unhinged” would make for a great segment on CNN.

Well, “great” in the sense that I would be able to find some legitimate belly laughs by tuning in.
