Trump’s DACA Announcement Boosts Approval Rating to 45%

Renewed criticism from the radical left seems to have little impact on the President’s popularity with the vast majority of level-headed Americans.

As President Trump rescinded the automatic renewal of the DACA program that was illegally installed by former President Barack Obama, the radical left had found yet another point of contention with the Commander in Chief.  They believed, once again, that this intervention on an already admittedly temporary program was somehow evidence of Trump’s inherent and pervasive racism – something that liberals have been unsuccessfully attempted to pin on the President since long before the election of November 2016.

This latest row has even resulted in calls for “resistance” members to slash the tires of immigration officers by members of American academia.

Now, however, the Trump administration has made a major statement to refute the radical left…without saying a word.

“Americans uniting as one, as they’ve done in Texas to battle Harvey, represents the true spirit of America, ‘a spirit of love, determination and resolve,’ President Trump has said. That American spirit is the subject of this week’s Rasmussen Minute as yet another, potentially catastrophic hurricane tracks toward Florida.

“President Ronald Reagan said in his first inaugural address in 1981 that ‘government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.’ Voters still agree and hope Congress and the president don’t blunt the cutting knife.”

Trump’s work against the elitist Washington machine has been a feather in his cap during his so-far arduous tenure at the helm of the nation.

That comes as no surprise, however, as American voters chose Trump precisely because of his ability to rise above partisan hackery and return the nation to law and order, under the rule of the people.  We The People asked for DACA to be rescinded, and so it was.  This is government in its purest form, captained by a man independently wealthy enough to explain to the lobbyists of Washington exactly where they can shove their special interest cash.
