If you listen to all the false media hype, you would believe that Hillary Clinton has a huge lead over Donald Trump among young voters, but that may not be the case. The same liberal media also tells you that Hillary leads among women, blacks, Hispanics and virtually every demographic group there is, but you can’t believe half of what the liberal media tells you. Don’t forget, this is the same liberal media that crucifies Trump and every conservative about the least thing while ignoring the fact that Hillary Clinton has repeatedly committed perjury in court and before Congress, she has broken federal laws and constantly lies about virtually everything. They forget that just a few years ago, Hillary claimed that her family was nearly financially broke while at the same time Bill Clinton was raking in millions of dollars for his speaking. The liberal media forget that Hillary Clinton told the grieving parents of two of the slain Americans at Benghazi that she would keep in touch them and let them know all the circumstances surrounding the attack and the deaths of their sons. Yet, Hillary has yet to speak to them nor has she admitted her role in the attacks nor has she explained why she and the State Department ignored the repeated requests for more security submitted by Ambassador Stevens.
Willmar Senior High School in Willmar, Minnesota held a mock election among their students this past Tuesday during the lunch hour. The election was part of a statewide program designed to get young people more engaged in the election-voting process. Throughout the state of Minnesota, around 282 high schools are participating in the mock election program.
Willmar is a small rural town of about 20,000 people located about 70 miles west of Minneapolis. It’s claim to fame is The Great Willmar, Minnesota Raid which took place on July 15, 1930 when Machine Gun Kelly and his gang robbed the Bank of Willmar. After wounding 3 people in the robbery, the gang escaped with $70,000.
Trending: Science is Settled
In Tuesday’s vote, around 40% of the Willmar’s 1,200 students took time during their lunch hour to cast their ballots. A total of 514 ballots were cast of which 207 were for Trump and 179 for Clinton. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson received 41 votes and Legal Marijuana Now party candidate Dan Vacek received 17 votes. A number of ballots had write-in names and other candidates received less than 10 votes.
One report stated that Hillary only lost by fewer than 30 votes, but the bottom line is that Trump took 40.3% of the vote compared to Clinton’s 34.8%. That’s all it takes for someone to win the presidency and the White House in the national election.
From statements made by several of the students, it seems that young people may be paying more attention to the issues than we or the liberal media realize. McKenna Taylor, a sophomore commented after casting her ballot:
“I think everybody should get the chance to vote, Kids pay attention too.”
Anna Rice, another sophomore who cast a ballot, stated that the practice of voting lets ‘adults know what kids think.’
If that’s the case, then more kids are paying attention to the issues and are concerned about our nation’s problems than the liberal media realizes. If this holds true for more young registered voters than in a week and half, they could surprise the liberal media and help elect Donald J. Trump the 45th President of the United States.
