For months, President Trump has been under some form of investigation at the hands of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
Mueller, a former FBI Director who has strong democratic ties, has been attempting to tie together bizarre loose ends in a conspiracy theory concocted by the radical left. American progressives are attempting to remove Donald Trump from office by any means necessary, and have been propagating an inexcusably dull narrative in which the left simply chose a former enemy of the United States and then told the world that Trump was their buddy.
Basically, the left is hoping that the rest of America will believe Robert Mueller when he eventually declares that Trump has Vladimir Putin’s cooties.
Never mind the fact that the entire idea of Trump as a Kremlin double agent has long been debunked, or the fact that Mueller has quite obviously moved beyond the intended scope of his probe. The left will get their way, by God, and Mueller will be their savior.
Trending: Art of the Meal
This sort of blind arrogance has been lambasted by the free press for months, with the President taking his own pot shots at only the most opportune moments. Yesterday, however, Trump let loose.
“When asked about an interview with Mueller Trump said, ‘There has been no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russians, or Trump and Russians, no collusion. When I watch you interviewing all of the people leaving their committees, I mean, the Democrats are all running for office, trying to say this and that, but bottom line they all say, there’s no collusion. And there is no collusion.’”
“He added, ‘I can only say this. There was absolutely no collusion. Everybody knows it. Every committee. I’ve been in office now for 11 months. For 11 months they’ve had this phony cloud over this administration, over our government. And it has hurt our government. It does hurt our government. It’s a Democrat hoax that was brought up as an excuse for losing an election that frankly the Democrats should have won because they had such a tremendous advantage in the electoral college. So it was brought up for that reason. But it’s determined there is no collusion by virtually everybody. So we’ll see what happens.’”
Trump’s insistence that there was never any collusion between his campaign and Russia has already been proven in the court of public opinion, and in reality. The left is simply unwilling to acknowledge that they’ve already lost this battle against the will of the American people who voted Trump into office.
Perhaps now the President has seen that this charade has gone on for too long and will make moves to expedite the culmination of this drain on our government.
