There is a theory shaping up in the world of #RussiaGate, in which a dastardly plan to derail The Donald is slowly being unearthed.
The idea is simple: Democratic operatives high in the Obama administration will use their access and connections in order to set up what appears to be a meeting in which a group of Russian lawyers want to sell dirt on Hillary Clinton to the Trump campaign. Then, having set up the entire, strange meeting, they begin to drop hints about Russian collusion through Hillary Clinton at the debates.
Plan B? Well Plan B was dropping evidence that Donald Trump is being blackmailed by the Kremlin thanks to some lewd laundry spilled by Muscovite prostitutes. Never mind that those rumors have been around for decades and the Wall Street Journal already published them after being dismissed as nonsense. The folks behind that masterpiece, Fusion GPS, provided the repackaged barnyard excrement to the media through places like BuzzFeed and CNN even though the sources were unverified and unverifiable.
Given that both plans sound absolutely absurd in their own right, can you imagine having your fingers in both of these perplexing pies at once?
Well, one man did, and wouldn’t you just look at the company he kept.
Attorney Edward Lieberman, whose late wife Evelyn served as Hillary Clinton’s chief of staff, exchanged numerous emails with the co-founder of the controversial Fusion GPS firm and Russian participants in the infamous June 9, 2016, Trump Tower meeting, documentation provided to the Senate Judiciary Committee shows.
The correspondence, part of a series of exhibits provided to Senate investigators and reviewed by Breitbart News, took place in the weeks leading up to the Trump Tower meeting.
Earlier this week, Breitbart News cited witness testimony saying Lieberman was present at one and possibly two dinner meetings between the controversial Fusion GPS firm and key participants in the infamous June 2016 Trump Tower meeting. Also, Lieberman met with one Russian participant the same day of the Trump Tower meeting, according to separate testimony.
Now the email logs provide a paper trail connection between Lieberman, Fusion GPS, and two of the Russian participants in the Trump Tower confab.
And before someone tries to spin this as some distant stretch…
Besides working for Hillary Clinton while she was First Lady, Lieberman’s late wife, Evelyn, also served as Bill Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, and famously transferred Monica Lewinsky out of the White House to the Defense Department.
