Was Trump Right About Most Illegal Aliens?

There is no doubt that the illegal immigration policies of Barack Obama over the past 8-years have been devastating in many ways to America and the American people. Instead of enforcing federal immigration laws and deporting millions of foreigners who came to our country illegally, he welcomed them with open arms and gave them many of the same rights and privileges reserved for US citizens and even more.

One of the results of Obama’s immigration policies was to allow illegals to obtain valid driver’s licenses. Arizona was one state that passed a law to prevent illegals from obtaining driver’s licenses and receiving other costly benefits, but Obama’s corrupt Department of Justice used their legal powers to overturn those laws and force states to provide citizen benefits to illegals.

Some liberal states went even further in extending citizen rights to illegals. California and Oregon passed laws that automatically registered everyone to vote once they obtained or renewed a state driver’s license. A recent report posted in the Mercury News, claimed that under the two years of the new law in California that approximately 806,000 illegal aliens had been registered to vote. Federal law clearly states that only American citizens are allowed to vote, but with the looming surge of popularity by Republicans, Democrats took the drastic measure to secure the illegally cast votes of illegal aliens. One source said they had evidence that over 3 million non-citizens cast ballots in the November election, which I firmly believe is the primary purpose behind all of Obama’s illegal immigration policies.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, Donald Trump created a huge stir when he characterized most illegal aliens as being criminals. The liberals were outraged at his remark. Personally, I have family and friends in Arizona who applauded Trump for being the first influential person in America to speak what they consider to be the truth.

A rancher I knew that lived about 50 miles north of the Mexican border feared for his life and the lives of his family. He sent his wife and teenage daughter to live with family in northern Arizona for fear something would happen to them at the ranch due to the numerous illegals that traveled across his ranch. He had been shot at and warned at gun point to ignore the human and drug trafficking. His accounts of the dangers caused by so many illegals is not an isolated one. Many similar accounts come from the border regions of Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.

Close friends in law enforcement have told me numerous times that the vast majority of violent crimes they encounter involve illegal aliens and/or drug traffickers.

My old neighborhood was a family friendly place to live. My wife and I would take walks at night without any worry or fear. My young daughters played outside and would cross the street to their friend’s house without any worry. Then groups of illegals began moving into the neighborhood. Some houses held up to 40 or more illegals. Today, my old neighborhood is a hotbed of crime and violence and the vast majority is directly related to illegal aliens.

In a report released by the Independent Journal Review, they list some alarming facts about criminal illegal aliens. They based their report on one released from the Department of Homeland Security. In fiscal year 2016, Ice removed only 240,255 illegals compared to 409,849 in 2014 or 369,221 in 2008.

They report that 58% of all of the illegals removed (deported) have been convicted of a crime. Seventy-three percent of those sent home were apprehended near the border. That means that once illegals have crossed into the US and move away from the border that they are pretty much home free.

Of those that made it past the border and into the US, 92% of those deported by Ice had committed a crime. In 2011, only 67% of those deported from within the country had committed a crime and that figure has steadily increased year by year.

If I were begin listing examples of crimes committed by illegals in just the past 8 years of the Obama administration, it would fill many, many pages. The bottom line is that Trump was right about most illegal aliens as a great deal of crime has been committed by many illegals and Barack Obama has intentionally ignored them all for the sake of illegal votes at election time. That demonstrates how little Obama cared for the American people.

Hopefully, Trump will live up to some of his campaign promises to close the borders and begin deporting millions of illegals. It will help reduce crime, save taxpayers billions of dollars and open up hundreds of thousands of jobs for hungry Americans.
