Trump Resistance Continues, This Time With NY Attorney

Trending: Iran Just Blamed The United States for Something HORRENDOUS

While Donald Trump is undoubtedly a controversial figure, and, in turn, a controversial president, no one could have expected the ferocity of the backlash against him.

Believe it or not, there was a time in America where the nation would unite and wish well upon the elected Commander in Chief, no matter the political cage match that took place previous to their election.  We have to remember that when the nation thrives, we as individuals thrive.

This President, however, has been the exception to that sacred rule.  Trump has been protested against, rioted against, spied on, threatened, stymied, and suffered calls for his impeachment all in his first 6 weeks in office.  Now, after Attorney General Jeff Sessions has called for the resignation of the remainder of Obama’s appointed federal prosecutors, by all means a routine procedure for an incoming administration, one lone liberal attorney from New York, (of course), is refusing to leave his post.

“Preet Bharara, a U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, is refusing the Trump administration’s demand to resign, according to multiple reports Saturday.

“Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Friday asked 46 attorneys appointed by former President Obama to submit their resignations, including Bharara.

“‘HOLDOVER: Bharara is not submitting his resignation, according to several ppl briefed – WH not responding to what they’ll do next,’ the New York Times’ Maggie Haberman tweeted Saturday.

“CNN’s Jake Tapper also reported that Bharara was refusing to resign.

“Brian Kolb, the New York State Assembly’s Republican leader, tweeted his support of Bharara in the wake of the reports.”

This open resistance to the President of The United States and his cabinet is dumbfounding and unlike anything we’ve seen in our modern political world.  These traitorous acts are undermining the authority of the office of The President – just as the liberals would like it.  Couple this with yet another instance of a possible attack planned on Trump, and the country that we hold so dear is beginning to become a terrifying place to be a conservative.
