Yet again, President Donald Trump is massively distancing himself from his predecessor as it pertains to radical Islamic terrorism.
Former President Barack Obama was abysmally ineffective in dealing with the global terror threat originating in the Middle East, and slowly spreading around the planet. Perhaps it was his belief that ISIS and the like were “on the run”, or “desperate”. Maybe it had more to do with his inability to recognize that radicalization even existed, spending much of his time as Commander in Chief defending the Islamic faith and refusing to even use the phrase “radical Islam”.
In either case, President Obama was constantly forced to make excuses for his uncanny inaction on the subject in international terrorism; something that certainly propelled Donald Trump to victory in November of 2016.
Right out of the gate, Trump was a staunch supporter of a two pronged safety net for Americans when it came to terrorism. First, the President would attempt to enact a temporary moratorium in fast-pass immigration from terror-rich countries. While both of Trump’s executive orders on this matter are still being help up in court by liberal judges, the intention of the President has led to a decrease in unchecked immigration.

Trump’s second move, however, would be to directly engage radical Islamic organizations in the Middle East, by force and by attitude. New reports tell us that the Commander in Chief is about to take to the airwaves to explain to Muslims exactly what must happen in order to safeguard the world against their radical brethren.
“President Donald Trump will visit Saudi Arabia during his first multi-national trip overseas, meeting with the leaders of more than 50 Muslim countries.
“Trump will deliver ‘an inspiring, yet direct speech on the need to confront radical ideology,’ according to National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster, who briefed reporters on the president’s trip. He added that Trump would talk about his hopes ‘for a peaceful vision of Islam to dominate across the world.’”
This is yet another clear example of the massive shift in national security ideology that we are experience with Donald Trump. Where Barack Obama was effectively neutered by his own party’s insistence that he shan’t offend anyone, including terrorists, Donald Trump has obliterated the liberal rules of political correctness – an action that took both determination and gall. Now, free of the constraints of ridiculous capitulation against our enemies, the newly-minted Commander in Chief can get to work.
