The liberal libel machine is is full swing once again this week, attempting to paint an ugly, obscene portraits of successful and popular President Donald Trump once again, this time raiding his lawyer’s office in a wild attempt to discover something to disparage the President with.
Remember, this all began with a wild conspiracy theory concocted by the democrats during the election of 2016 in which the left wanted us all to believe that Donald Trump was some sort of puppet of perpetual Russian President Vladimir Putin. Of course, this nonsense evolved to that point over some time, having been floated originally as Russians hacking the voting machines, and then Russians planting “fake news” stories, and then Trump being blackmailed over filthy sexual practices with Muscovite prostitutes, et cetera, et cetera, yada yada yada.
Today, the focus of this constantly evolving fabrication is the possibility that then-candidate Trump had a whole lot of help from the Russian government in getting elected, presumably in exchange for favors once The Donald was comfortably behind the desk in the Oval Office.
So, it makes perfect sense that the FBI would raid the offices of President Trump’s lawyer looking for files regarding rumored, (and denied), hush money paid to a porn star after a suppose affair twelve years ago…right?
And, of course, President Trump wasn’t going to take this nonsense laying down, tearing into the entire debacle via Twitter.
Donald Trump lashed out at hs own Justice Department on Tuesday morning, following FBI raids on his longtime personal lawyer’s offices, home and hotel.
‘Attorney–client privilege is dead!’ Trump tweeted.
‘A TOTAL WITCH HUNT!’
The White House has yet to formulate a strategy for dealing with the fallout of an apparent criminal investigation of Michael Cohen by the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.
Trump, according to one White House official who spoke with DailyMail.com on Monday night, is most angry about what he thought was an impenetrable barrier: the decades-old secrecy between Cohen and himself.
His most poignant piece of opposition to the raid came in a rather succinct statement.
Attorney–client privilege is dead!

This doesn’t even take into consideration the massive failures outlined by the FBI over the last several months, in regards to their undeniable ability to have stopped both Omar Mateen and Nikolas Cruz – mass shooters who were on the FBI’s radar in the weeks leading up to their respective slaughter-sprees.
Given Robert Mueller’s ability to play his investigation into Russia, (or whatever he damn well pleases, apparently), close to the chest, this bold, bold gamble belies either a new phase of the probe, or a desperation unseen in previous actions.
Our bet is on the latter, given that Trump has already escaped a number of phony, philandering scandals unharmed. Even if Mueller discovers that Stormy Daniels is absolutely correct, (not the bet we’d take), there is no reason to believe that a decades old affair is going to achieve anything outside of embarrassing the defeated democrats and their sullied sportsmanship.
