Donald Trump’s uniqueness as a President is not lost on much of America, but that hasn’t stopped several prominent political figures from heaping praise on him.
Sure, the President has received his fair share of criticisms from the left, including a massive conspiracy by the mainstream media to delegitimize him entirely based on unverifiable information regarding his ties to Russia. This is certainly expected, and fairly inconsequential in the long run. The most important evidence in the court of public opinion will not be coming from the biased left or the lame-stream media. It will come from those who have served the public before in successful and meaningful roles, during trying times. People who have had their own feet to the fire before can provide a much more cogent dissection of how President Trump is doing.
“‘I believe every president of the United States stands for our values,’ said Rice, who served as secretary of State and national security advisor during the presidency of George W. Bush. ‘You heard President Trump say, for instance, after the Syrian chemical attack, we can’t let that stand. What he was saying was the president of the United States can’t let that stand.’
“From the sidelines of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit at the Olympia Fields Country Club in Illinois, Rice said on ‘Squawk Box’ Trump knows the importance of alliances and expects him to forge ties with Democracies around the world.“‘While the language may be different, and we might talk about needing to deal with policy, I think you’re going to see … that Americans’ interests in values are always linked,’ Rice said. ‘It’s early days in this administration. Let’s remember that.’
“On the global landscape, Rice said the U.S. needs to protect itself better from cyber intrusions, highlighted by Tuesday’s latest global ransomware attack and evidence of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. She added Russia, in the context of the election meddling, needs to be viewed as a ‘hostile power.'”
Rice is an extremely well-respected figure not only in American politics, but also on the world’s stage, lending a great amount of credence to her assessment of Donald Trump.
This endorsement of Trump and his America First intentions comes at an important time the in the first term of the unconventional President. Not only has the radical left begun their transformation from liberal vitriol to literal violence with the GOP congressional baseball attack, but Trump himself has been at war with the formerly formidable CNN as the mainstream media turns to treacherous trickery and shirking the laws of journalism in order to paint an abhorrent picture of the President.
