Representative Susan Collins has taken to the floor of the Senate to announce her decision on Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination, but is doing so with her fair share of dramatics.
Collins is one of the “undecided” Senators who could hold up the confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh after a number of sexual abuse allegations were leveled against him, some incredible, and some unverifiable.
Before announcing her decision, Collins has spent quite a number of minutes seemingly defending Kavanaugh’s judicial record in an effort to justify what appeared to be a forthcoming “yes” vote.
