Senator Rand Paul Tells America to Get Ready: We’re About to Reverse the Obama Era!

Late Tuesday night a collective cheer arose across America as Hillary Clinton was finally shuffled off the national stage and into retirement (we hope).

The initial exultation soon gave way to even greater levels of elation as conservatives soon realized that not only would a Republican be President, but that President would have a GOP majority in the Senate and in the House! This truth has reminded many Republicans in Congress of why the were elected in the first place… to shrink government and to serve the American people.

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) appeared on MSNBC and Fox News to discuss the exciting prospect of the coming two years worth of GOP leadership. He also made sure to tell America that Obamacare would soon be dead.

Trending: Science is Settled

I have a prediction to make this morning. I think we’re going to spend the first month passing repeal of Obama regulations and they will be signed by Trump. So I think there will be a half a dozen regulations repealed in the first week of Congress and this is something I’m excited to do because most of these regulations haven’t been written by Congress. I think they’re unconstitutional because they’ve been — they’re — basically the executive is legislating and that was never the intention of the founding fathers. So I think you’re going to find that we’re going to repeal half dozen or more regulations in the first week of Congress and i’m excited about it. I think the regulations have been killing our jobs and making us less competitive for the world.

I am the supreme law of the United States. Originally comprising seven articles, I delineate the national frame of government. My first three articles entrench the doctrine of the separation of powers, whereby the federal government is divided into three branches: the legislative, consisting of the bicameral Congress; the executive, consisting of the President; and the judicial, consisting of the Supreme Court and other federal courts. Articles Four, Five and Six entrench concepts of federalism, describing the rights and responsibilities of state governments and of the states in relationship to the federal government. Article Seven establishes the procedure subsequently used by the thirteen States to ratify it. I am regarded as the oldest written and codified constitution in force of the world.
