Science Contradicts the Religion of Climate Change

THE PROOF THAT GLOBAL WARMING EXISTS, WE ARE TOLD, IS THAT VIOLENT NATURAL DISASTERS LIKE HURRICANES ARE INCREASING. BUT IS THAT REALLY TRUE?

Hurricanes are powerful forces of nature. National Geographic tell us that “Hurricanes are giant, spiraling tropical storms that can pack wind speeds of over 160 miles (257 kilometers) an hour and unleash more than 2.4 trillion gallons (9 trillion liters) of rain a day. These same tropical storms are known as cyclones in the northern Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal, and as typhoons in the western Pacific Ocean.”

Whatever their name, “these storms are capable of annihilating coastal areas and causing massive death tolls.”

They are formed over warm water:

Hurricanes begin as tropical disturbances in warm ocean waters with surface temperatures of at least 80 degrees Fahrenheit (26.5 degrees Celsius). These low pressure systems are fed by energy from the warm seas. If a storm achieves wind speeds of 38 miles (61 kilometers) an hour, it becomes known as a tropical depression…

Hurricanes are enormous heat engines that generate energy on a staggering scale. They draw heat from warm, moist ocean air and release it through condensation of water vapor in thunderstorms.

If global warming is true, then as the ocean waters heat up, we should expect hurricanes to become both more frequent and violent. The celebrities believe this. But should they?

And if this is true, then by denying science and disregarding the warnings of our liberal politicians and Mother Nature’s Hollywood spokesmen, then we deserve the judgment that we get. As we continue in our sins, then these storms will begin pounding us harder and harder until we repent.

FAITH WITHOUT EVIDENCE

Wall Street Journal opinion piece recently explained this tendency to pronounce religious judgment on climate sinners like Houston who refuse to allow politicians to prescribe zoning laws…
