While the sheer hysteria of the leftist media has been an unfortunate sideshow to the successes of the Trump presidency, I’ll be the first to admit that it has been somewhat hilarious at times to witness.
The incredible meltdowns and mischief of the liberal left, especially with cameras and microphones pointed in their general direction have been insane to watch. The way the mainstream media has been forced to cover a President who can usurp them at a moment’s notice via Twitter has completely eviscerated the way in which our politicos interact with one another and We The People. In many ways, the immediacy in which the President can react to the world around him, publicly, is a game changer – and we should all be thankful for that.
Of course, many are, instead, throwing temper tantrums and hissy fits the likes of which we have never seen before. CNN’s Jim Acosta comes to mind first and foremost, as his antics within the White House Press Briefing room are quickly becoming a thing of legend…but not in a Wyatt Earp sort of way. No, Acosta’s hijinks are far more akin to the infamous behavior of men such as Dennis Rodman, whose substance is far outweighed by their behavior, and who was never afraid of bad publicity.
On more than one occasion, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has been forced to publicly neuter Acosta in front of all of his mainstream media buddies. Now, Sanders is speaking out about her time with the notoriously boisterous “journalist”, and putting him in his place with a maternal diss that rings true more vociferously than any headline on CNN in months.
Sanders is the mother of three children — six years old or younger. But dealing with her little ones, she says, was the perfect preparation for handling the grown-up toddlers who inhabit the White House press room — especially CNN’s nonstop whiner Jim Acosta.
The Daily Caller asked Sanders in an email, “What’s more difficult: Dealing with your children on an onerous day or dealing with Jim Acosta?” Acosta is a CNN reporter who whines nonstop.
“Both of them whine pretty regularly. They both like to ask the same questions and sometimes their tone needs to be adjusted a little bit. So I think that having kids has prepared me for the job that I have right now,” Sanders said.
“In all seriousness, I think that having kids is great preparation for anything – especially a job you need patience for and they have certainly prepared me for this one,” Sanders said.
I don’t think we could have said it any better ourselves, Sarah.
Now we can only hope that the nation’s conservative awakening will continue to push the population in the direction of the truth, and thusly away from CNN and others who look to distort The Donald’s deeds for their own dastardly, democratic dealings.
