My, oh my, how the tables have turned for Bill and Hillary Clinton, who have spent the better part of a year attempting to pin a vast Russian conspiracy on President Donald Trump.
Timelier still is Hillary Clinton’s bizarre injury sustained while speaking in the UK this week that has effectively taken the former Secretary of State out of the media spotlight for as long as she decides she needs to “heal”.
Clinton’s spurious “broken toe” excuse aside, a bombshell of a story has hit the press this morning in which irrefutable proof of Russian collusion within the back channels of the U.S. government has been exposed. While the Clintons and CNN’s of the world repeatedly told us that such revelations were coming, neither of the left-leaning entities could have predicted that The Clinton Foundation would be at the center of such accusations.
Yet, that is precisely what we are being told today regarding bribery, collusion, and democratic politics all colliding in 2009.
“Before the Obama administration approved a controversial deal in 2010 giving Moscow control of a large swath of American uranium, the FBI had gathered substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States, according to government documents and interviews.
“Federal agents used a confidential U.S. witness working inside the Russian nuclear industry to gather extensive financial records, make secret recordings and intercept emails as early as 2009 that showed Moscow had compromised an American uranium trucking firm with bribes and kickbacks in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, FBI and court documents show.
“They also obtained an eyewitness account — backed by documents — indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow, sources told The Hill.
“The racketeering scheme was conducted ‘with the consent of higher level officials’ in Russia who ‘shared the proceeds’ from the kickbacks, one agent declared in an affidavit years later.”
If I were Bill Clinton, I would suddenly be stubbing my toes as well to avoid being accosted by the certain onslaught of prying journalists in the wake of these revelations.
Once again, as predictable as clockwork, the democrats have been caught in a scheme closely resembling something that they attempted to project on their political enemies. The disclosure of the nuclear nonsense from 2009 is still a fresh story as of this writing, and it will be ultimately interesting to see how the mainstream media spins these revelations.
