The sheer obnoxiousness of the anti-Russian rhetoric coming from the radical left is now putting American soldiers in harm’s way overseas.
For months, Russia and the United States have been butting heads in Syria, as Russian troops have aligned themselves with the monstrous regime of Bashar al-Assad in the fight against ISIS. Assad, who has turned the Syrian presidency from a respected position to a dictatorial nightmare, has welcomed the Russian assistance in this fight, perhaps too well, after it became clear that Putin’s army may have been complicit in the dastardly chemical weapons attacks that prompted a swift response from the United States.
Now, as Russia continues to feel threatened by American leftist agitators who are perpetuating an unverifiable conspiracy theory regarding the election of Donald Trump, the Kremlin has issued a stern warning to U.S. troops in that area: We will shoot your planes down.
Trending: Freak Show
“The country’s defence ministry said it would track US-led coalition aircraft with missile systems and military aircraft, but stopped short of saying it would shoot them down.
“A hotline set up between Russia and the US to prevent mid-air collisions will also be suspended.
Troubles in Syria have been ongoing for some time, with Russian forces and U.S. troops participating in a shaky and fragile coexistence in the war-torn country.
Now, as the American political left continues their asinine witch hunt surrounding the Russian “influence” on the 2016 presidential election, Vladimir Putin and other high ranking Russian officials have been displaying their ruffled feathers far more often than before.
At a recent speaking engagement, Russian President Putin was interviewed by Megyn Kelly, the U.S. journalist known for her “gotcha” questioning and ability to make every interview she conducts more about her than her subject. Kelly attempted to spring a fairly lame trap for Putin regarding the accusations being made by democrats in America, visibly irking the international leader. Putin was quick to point out to Megyn that the United States’ media complex has long been biased, and, perhaps, a bit corrupt. His quick work in handling Kelly elicited jovial laughs from the audience as Kelly was forced into a more demure position on stage.
This continues pressure on the Russian government to “come clean” regarding their involvement in the 2016 election is absurd, and likely infuriating to Putin, who has asked several times for evidence backing up these dangerous, leftist claims. To this day, any and all “evidence” of such interference has been anecdotal at best, leaving the American political left no choice but to continue their campaign of propaganda against Putin, which, in turn, has lead to the dangerous situation that our military pilots now find themselves in over Syria.
