Hall of Fame rockers KISS recently decided to weigh-in on the current National Anthem controversy that has been plaguing the NFL over the last couple of weeks. While you may expect big West Coast stars like KISS to side with the whiny liberals scattered throughout the NFL (and in the media), that was not the case during their concert this past week.
First, the band reminded their fans that freedom isn’t free, then they announced that they were donating $150K to help our veterans, and finally they led the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance before performing an awesome version of the National Anthem.
It was awesome. Watch it for yourself below:
“You should remember, patriotism is always cool. Loving your country is always cool. Standing up, respecting and honoring our military is always cool. So, to show some respect between pick-throwing, we’re going to put our right hands over our hearts and why don’t we say the Pledge of Allegiance.”
