As we look out on the nation at large this week, does anyone else gets the sense that something dark is on the horizon?
Is that the pale ember of freedom, casting smoke into the sky off in the distance? Is the next sunset we see more precious than we could ever imagine, here in America? Or has the mainstream media hypnotized us into believing their impeccably crafted, and crafty, narrative about We The People going at each others’ throats in the coming moments?
With each passing day we get closer to finding the answer, whether we truly wish to or not.
Even among the affluence and splendor of a place like the coast of Massachusetts, this sort of ugliness lurks, obscured by the seersucker suits and afternoon Seabreeze, both in glass and in the atmosphere.
A man told police on Monday he was stopped at a red light in Hyannis, Massachusetts, when the driver behind him began honking the horn, the Cape Cod Times reported
Then things got weird — and scary.
“I could hear her screaming out of the car or something, so I’m like, ‘Man, maybe something’s wrong with my car,’” said the man identified by WBZ-TV only as “Brendan” for his safety.
What she was saying only served to reiterate Brendan’s uneasiness.
Brendan added to the station that “the first thing she said when I came out of the car was, ‘Did you vote for Trump?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, what of it?’”
With that, he told WBZ, the driver yelled, “You’re racist!” along with “a bunch of cuss words” coming at him “nonstop.”
But that wasn’t the worst of it.
Brendan recorded video of the incident as the driver first allegedly hit the back of his car then clipped his open door, missing him by inches, WBZ said.
“Her tire was right next to my foot,” Brendan recalled to the station. “That could have ended really bad.”
This is the America that the liberal left has created in the wake of Donald Trump’s election; one of vile anger and horrendous recklessness.
