Should Republicans Repeal ObamaCare the Same Way it Was Passed?

The simple answer to this question is, yes!  In fact, I would give it a resounding YES!

It is my opinion that Republicans, and President-elect Trump, should not only overturn it but do it in the same style in which it was passed — change the rules of the Senate to a simple majority.

Why should such a drastic measure be taken?  Because of the draconian measures Democrats employed.

During the 2008 Presidential election cycle, then Candidate Barak Hussein Obama promised the healthcare discussions would be the most transparent in the history of the country.  He even went so far as to say the debates would be televised on C-Span.

But it was all a lie!  Democrats had secret meetings shutting out any and all Republicans from engaging in the discussion.

Republicans wanted to debate whether or not it was a good idea for the Federal government to get involved in healthcare.  Democrats, who had a majority in the House and a super-majority in the Senate didn’t want to hear it.

For them, it was a done deal.  Democrats were going to work out the finer points of the legislation with or without any input from Republicans.

In the video below, former CNN reporter Jack Cafferty’s hits the nail on its proverbial head with his observations. (THIS IS A MUST WATCH!)

Republicans need to remember the way Democrats shoved the mislabeled “Affordable Care Act” down the American people’s throat.

As already noted, they changed the rules in the Senate to a simple majority.  They promised you could keep your doctor.  They promised if you like your policy you can keep it.  They promised your rates would be lower.  They promised the bill would reduce the budget deficit.  And again, it was all a lie!

Republicans have this weird desire to try to win the hearts and minds of the media.  But what they end up doing in the process is betraying their base!

Here is what Republicans need to learn.  Don’t try to win the hearts and minds of the media.  They will never like you.  Don’t worry about being fair. Democrats weren’t concerned with being fair.

Jack Cafferty was correct when he called ObamaCare “crap.”  Republicans simply need to pull the lever and flush the toilet.
