The speaker and sheiks explain that what the western media refers to as “extremist” or “radical Islam” is neither. Whatever complaints westerners have or misunderstand and think is radical– is not– because the rules according to Islam are based on the Qur’an.
The speaker asks the following questions and asks members of the audience to raise their hands. Listen to what they are asked and watch how many members of the audience raise their hands expressing their agreement.
The speaker states, “these are general views that every Muslim has.” Then he builds up to the main point through each question:
“How many of you are normal Muslims?”
“How many of you agree that men and women should sit separate?”
It’s not just radical sheiks that believe this, he says, what we are teaching is for all Muslims. He continued:
“How many of you agree that the punishments described in the Qur’an and the Sunnah, whether it is death, or stoning for adultery, whatever it is, if it from Allah and his messenger, that is the best punishment ever possible for human kind that we should apply in the world.
“Are you all radical extremists?”
No– he maintains– normal Muslims believe this.
