The dust has yet to settle in Charlottesville, Virginia, yet the radical left is already appropriating the tragedy to call for violence against the unrelated conservative movement, whom they illogically blame for the weekend war.
Somehow, the liberal and libelous left has gotten away with lumping America’s conservative base in with White Nationalists, neo-Nazis, and White Supremacists. It’s a maneuver designed to demonize their political opposition, and allow for the radicalized progressives to employ more dastardly tactics in public confrontations.
In the wake of the tragic events of the Charlottesville weekend war, many on the left have continued to falsely accuse the racist organizations involved of being covert conservatives, wholly ignoring the massive condemnation of such bigotry by any and all sane republicans. Now, as the left continues to exploit this tragedy, many within their ranks are calling for an increase in violence aimed at conservatives and racists alike.
“Many of the same groups that have organized violent demonstrations in Berkeley, California and elsewhere are now calling for an aggressive response to the violence in Charlottesville. Far-left ‘anti-fascist’ (or antifa) figures are advising agitators to do the job that police won’t: shutting down ‘fascists’ and prevent them from organizing.
“’Charlottesville is just the beginning. If the alt-right can get away with murder there, none of us will be safe. We have to stand up to white supremacists, we have to shut down and chase out these bigots every time they try to organize, or else they will kill more people,’ reads one poster created by anarchist group CrimethInc, a self-described ‘international network of aspiring revolutionaries.’
“Another anarchist group, the Revolutionary Abolition Movement, issued a statement after Charlottesville praising the far-left fighters who, along with violent white nationalists, turned Charlottesville into a literal political battlefield.
“’Our fighters showed daring and a willingness to risk their own safety for the sake of others, and we hold them in the highest regard. Due to their fortitude and unwavering determination, the anti-fascists held their ground and succeeded in stopping the rally. Though we will never know exactly how many lives were saved by their actions, it is clear that without resistance to their fascist terror many more would have been harmed,’ reads the statement.”
It is the use of the fake news term “alt-right” that is specifically worrisome to many conservatives.
By attaching “right” to the actions of these horrific racists, the radical left is hoping to combine their enemies into one force, simply defined as “not the radical left”. This is all a piece of their hopes of instigating a New Civil War in America that may have already begun with the assassination attempt of several congressional republicans by Bernie Sanders campaign volunteer James T. Hodgkinson earlier this year.
