How does a Somali get elected to Minnesota’s state legislature? Because she’s from “Little Somalia,” Minneapolis, home to the largest Somali community in America.
So it should come as not surprise that a Somali activist unseated one of the longest-serving members of the state legislature earlier this year in Minneapolis.
Ilhan Omar defeated Rep. Phyllis Kahn who was in the legislature for 22 terms (44 years). Omar could be the first Somali in America to be elected to any state legislature if she wins in November.
Minneapolis is recruiting ground for young terrorists. At least 36 Somali men from Minnesota have been charged since 2007 with trying to leave the U.S. to join the terrorist group al-Shabab (that slaughtered 147 Christians at a Kenyan university in 2015) and ISIS. Others have been convicted for providing material support to terrorist organizations. In 2015, U.S. Attorney Andrew Luger admitted that, “Minnesota has a terror recruitment problem.”
Minneapolis residents also want Shari’a law implemented in America.
When a woman wearing a pink hijab and traditional dress was asked on camera if she believed a father could force his young daughter to marry a man of his choice, she answered: “Yeah, yeah, he can, he can. He has the authority, you know, yeah, to do that.”
Several men interviewed all said the same thing:
“I’m a Muslim. I prefer Shariah law.”
“Shariah law, yes.”
“Of course if you’re a Muslim, yeah.”
And Somalis from this same area went to an upscale neighborhood on July 4th weekend to threaten its residents, claiming they would burn their homes and rape their women. The media did not mention that they were Somalis. KSTP TV reported:
A mob of up to 30 young Somali men paraded through one of Minneapolis’ more upscale neighborhoods last week, yelling disparaging comments and threats against homeowners.
A female resident of the neighborhood, obviously shaken in a TV interview, related how she was screamed at by a Somali man who threatened to kidnap and rape her.
“They were screaming at the house that they were going to kidnap you and they were going to rape you. It was a very traumatizing experience.”
Is it any wonder that people who refuse to be American and follow American laws want to implement Shari’a? And– few to none are reporting on the reality that Somalis do not want anything other than to destroy America.
In light of this, how can anyone who wants Shari’a law be in U.S. government in any capacity?
