The ridiculousness of the “resistance” rhetoric in our nation today has been alarming on a number of fronts, and now the President himself is weighing in.
Over the course of the Trump Era, (which is still a scant two years in age), we have witnessed an inordinate number anti-American and anti-Presidential actions being perpetrated by citizens spanning the entirety of our society. From some of the world’s most influential celebrities, all the way down to the most random and rabid of the democratic voter base, there has been no shortage of threats being tossed around, both against our republic and against the entire Trump administration.
Donald Trump sent a message to Eric Holder on Thursday, after the former attorney general told supporters to “kick” Republicans.
“He better be careful what he is wishing for, that I can tell you,” Trump said in an interview on Fox and Friends, “That’s a disgusting statement for him to make, for him to make a statement like that is a very dangerous statement.”
Holder was captured on video challenging former First Lady Michelle Obama’s statement that “when they go low, we go high.”
“No. No,” Holder said. “When they go low, we kick ’em. That’s what this new Democratic party is all about,” he said.
The left, along with their cohorts in the mainstream media, have been pushing the narrative of a “New Civil War” for some time, as President Donald Trump defies the odds and continues to rack up impressive “wins” during the first half of his first term as Commander in Chief.
