President Trump has certainly made a name for himself in the fight to mitigate overzealous political correctness in America, and that has the liberal left simply fuming at every turn.
The reason for this, of course, is the left’s reliance on the act of virtue signaling to both attract young voters and to cover themselves in the case that yet another among their ranks is outed as a vile bigot or chauvinist in the near future. Given their record on this sort of this, it surely feels as though it is merely a matter of time until this occurs.
And, thanks to the left’s rampant divisiveness, yet another political tactic, Americans are clamoring to re-segregate themselves in order to have a leg up on their leftist competition. A unique and obscure heritage? Great! Grow up in an atypical household? Come get your medal! Voted for Hillary? You’re definitely not some sort of rampant and abhorrent sexual predator!
So, when Donald Trump arrived on the scene, we were given a decent glimpse behind the curtain of this leftist lunacy insomuch that the requirement of political correctness was shoved back into the closet. You could now say things like “Harvey Weinstein seems like a creep” without someone trying to defend him against your opinion.
One of the most deplorable instances of this faux outrage comes to us from women such as Rachel Dolezal, who famously “identifies” as an African American even though she has literally no ethnic background to speak of in that regard. Dolezal was widely lambasted by America for her actions, in that she appropriated the culture of a different race, and then passed herself off as a member of that specific ethnic group.
It would be as though you used a phony Native American heritage to make people vote for you.
That’s why we have guys like Donald Trump around to set us straight.
“But let’s say I’m debating Pocahontas, I’ll do this,” Trump said during a campaign rally in Great Falls, Mont., referring to Warren by the racially charged nickname he gave her during the 2016 presidential campaign.
“I promise you I’ll do this, you know those little kits they sell on television for $2? Learn your heritage,” Trump said.
“I’m going to get one of those little kits and in the middle of the debate, when she proclaims she’s of Indian heritage — because her mother said she has high cheekbones, that’s her only evidence,” Trump continued.
“We will take that little kit, we have to do it gently because we’re in the “Me Too” generation, we have to be very gentle,” Trump said mocking the movement that seeks to expose sexual misconduct in media, entertainment and politics.
The President then said he’d toss the kit to Warren and offer her $1 million to take the DNA test to prove her Native American heritage.
As of this writing, there has been no response from Elizabeth Warren.
