We have officially made it to the halfway point of one of the most tumultuous political weeks in recent memory, and our President is just as defiant as ever.
With the liberal-leaning mainstream media working overtime in an attempt to slander the President Trump at the behest of congressional democrats, stories such as the firing of James Comey and the meeting between the Commander in Chief and Russian ambassadors are being blown completely out of proportion. Meanwhile, the murder of DNC operative Seth Rich, and his possible connection to Wikileaks, have been systematically swept under the rug by these same “news” clowns.
President Trump has had enough, according to a recent statement, and will continue to work toward the goals that the American people elected him to achieve, despite the furious media and liberal backlash that is fomenting in Washington D.C.
“The president made his remarks during his commencement address at the Coast Guard Academy in Connecticut, offering his advice to the graduates.
“’You will find that thing happen to you that you do not deserve and that are not always warranted, but you have to put your head down and fight, fight, fight.’ Trump said. ‘Never ever, ever give up. Things will work out just fine.’
“’I didn’t get elected to serve the Washington media or special interests,’ he said. ‘I got elected to serve the forgotten men and women of our country, and that’s what I’m doing.’”
Donald Trump has been a wholly unconventional President, but we mustn’t let the left turn that trait into some sort of battlecry against conservative American goals. The fact that Trump isn’t your average Washington elitist with compromising ties to special interest groups is precisely why we elected him in the first place. By comparing Trump to past presidents, or any other politician, for that matter, is completely absurd and well beyond the point.
Washington needed an enema, for lack of a less descriptive term, and President Donald Trump isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty flushing the excrement from the halls of government.
Let the liberal media continue their witch hunt if we must. Allow them their temper tantrums and hissy fits. At the end of the day, there is a leader in Washington D.C. who is not beholden to special interests, industry magnates, lobbying collectives, foreign governments, or any other entity with convoluted ideas about what America can do for them. Trump is truly working to discover what America can do for you and the rest of We The People.
