Pentagon Plans to Defy President Trump on Major Military Move in 2018

There has been an impervious air of resistance hanging over the head of President Trump this last year, much of which has come from the nation’s left-leaning voter base.

By calling themselves the Resistance, with a capital “R”, these rambunctious and mostly millennial miscreants have been busy opposing every single iteration of the Trump agenda that they possibly can.  There’s no limit to what they will whine about when it comes to the Commander in Chief, and any previously help beliefs on those subjects are certainly willing to change if they find themselves aligning with the President.

Now it seems that even pieces of our own government are rebelling against the President as this nonsense spreads.

We’ve previously bore witness to Deep State coup attempts and RINO republicans attempting to stampede the Trump agenda from their cushy, special-interest-decorated perches in the D.C. swamp.  Out latest bit of anti-American posturing comes directly from the Pentagon, however, begging the question of when this petulant Resistance will be forced to reconcile their own bizarre opposition to Trump.

“The Pentagon is allowing transgender people to enlist in the military beginning Jan. 1, despite President Donald Trump’s opposition.

“The new policy reflects growing legal pressure on the issue, and the difficult hurdles the federal government would have to cross to enforce Trump’s demand to ban transgender individuals from the military. Two federal courts already have ruled against the ban. Potential transgender recruits will have to overcome a lengthy and strict set of physical, medical and mental conditions that make it possible, though difficult, for them to join the armed services.

“Maj. David Eastburn, a Pentagon spokesman, says the enlistment of transgender recruits will start Jan. 1 and go on amid the legal battles. The Defense Department also is studying the issue.”

The original declaration by the President, which barred the enlistment of transgender individuals, came after consulting with some of the nation’s most qualified military minds, and was meant to keep our troops safe from distraction and confusion in life and death situations.

Of course, due to their Resistance credentials, a number of prominent leftists disagreed with the decision, many of whom have had exactly zero military experience to begin with.

Only time will tell how and when the President and The Pentagon will officially butt heads on this issue.
