Pay for Play: Why Hillary Will Never Be Prosecuted!

I keep the TV on in my office with the volume low.  And it is usually tuned into one of the 24-hour cable news networks.  Recently, during one of the shows that I was half way listening to, a news alert flashed across the screen.  I interrupted my reading and looked up at the TV to see what was going on.

The show’s host, who seemed a little excited, stated something about breaking news and the Clinton Foundation, State Department, scandal and pay for play blah, blah, blah.

She the announced she had a special guest. The man who authored the book “Clinton Cash.”  During the interview, the host and her guest both suggested that the release and content of the forty-four previously withheld emails by the State Department, could be the scandal which brings down Hillary Clinton. But you and I know differently!

In defense of the host, it must be noted that she was just twelve years old when Bill became President.  But I wasn’t.  I remember all too well the stench of each and every scandal watching them unfold on CNN or C-Span.

I remember Bill Clinton’s first year in office and hearing reporter after reporter and investigator after investigator discussing allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual assault, Whitewater, the Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan debacle, Travelgate, Filegate, and the scandal to top them all — the suicide of Hillary’s top aide, Vince Foster.

I remember that a few of the sexual misconduct and sexual assault allegations surfaced during the primary season.  And I remember how voters didn’t seem to care.

The then sitting president was George H.W. Bush, wh0 had been Vice-president under Ronald Reagan.  And after twelve years the country grew weary of a Republican in the Whitehouse.

The country wanted change, and they wanted change at all cost!  In fact, so much so, that they may have voted for the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini if he was on the ballot opposite Bush.

But with every scandal, the office of President of the United States was being diminished; both in this country and worldwide.

Many folks, especially those who didn’t vote for Bill Clinton, were wringing their hands in anguish that this predator and his power hungry wife were occupying the Whitehouse.

But you know what came out of all the allegations, investigations, and scandals?  Nothing!  Oh, there was a little bad publicity for a time, but in the end, nothing!

So if you have yet to figured it out, let me spell it out to you in plain simple language. Bill and Hillary Clinton are untouchable, and it is time Republicans face that fact.

My goodness, the recent email scandal involving classified material ought to tell you that.  According to many, on both left and right; Hillary should have been indicted for violating numerous laws relating to the Federal Records Act, yet she walked away unscathed by those who had the power to reign in this corrupt couple.

So I sit back and laugh when a youngster, such as the host of the news show, actually believes the recent scandal of pay for play involving the Clinton Foundation, Hillary, and the State Department is going to be her downfall.

I’m convinced that if there was a video showing Hillary driving drunk and running over a group of blind children who were waiting for a school bus, that somehow and someway she would get off.  And the bus driver, well, he would be indicted for being two minutes late.
