Obama’s Ambassador to Russia Praises Trump’s Handling of Putin

It’s unexpected when anyone who served in the Obama administration chooses to speak out in defense of the Trump administration, it’s something altogether more surprising when they speak out to praise the President.

However, that is exactly what recently unfolded on MSNBC of all places, when former Obama era Ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul, praised the Trump administration’s handling of Russia.

McFaul who has been a vocal critic of the President chose to praise him for his comments on NATO and for Secretary of State Tillerson’s successful meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov and Russia’s president Vladimir Putin. McFaul told MSNBC’s Greta Van Susteren that  Trump’s unpredictability is Russia’s “greatest worry.”
