Obama Legacy Lost: Administration Sent $200K to Terror Group!?

The way the democrats talk about it, you would think that the Obama legacy was akin to the Second Coming, or at least as pivotal to society as sliced bread.  Or maybe the invention of the wheel.

The left is simply still in love with Obama administration, and, given just how disastrous the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign of 2016 turned out, it isn’t all that surprising.  After witnessing the results of that fateful contest, it became blatantly obvious that the democrats couldn’t find it in their hearts to vote for such a heartless and corrupt career crook.

Now, as if to add insult to injury, it looks as though Barack Obama’s legacy isn’t safe amongst the liberals either.

The Obama administration approved a $200,000 grant to a group in Sudan with ties to Al Qaeda even though it had been designated a terrorist-financing organization by the U.S. years earlier, a conservative think tank revealed this week.

Further, an agency official acknowledged the prior administration allowed taxpayer money to flow to the group even after its designation was discovered.

The 2014 grant to the Islamic Relief Agency, through the U.S. Agency for International Development, was revealed by Sam Westrop of the Middle East Forum in a story for the National Review.

This inexcusable move seems to fit into the narrative that many of us watched unfold during the dying moments of Obama’s second term, in which the former President seemed to go out of his way in order to avoid drawing any condemnation to radical Islamic terror.
