Things are looking a bit coordinated on the left side of the the aisle this week, as the resistance clique continues to push their bizarre ideologies on America.
The President is under attack, at least according to one “senior” White House staffer who has written an anonymous piece in the New York Times. The article shed light on a terrifying tactic being used in the West Wing to dismantle the Trump agenda, in which officials within the administration literally steal documents off of the President’s desk. This obstructionist technique has been celebrated by the liberal left in the wake of the article’s release, revealing that they are in no way interested in playing by the rules of government.
Now, rather peculiarly, Barack Hussein Obama has hit the campaign trail nearly simultaneously, taking digs at President Trump by the bushel.
Mr. Obama made his return to the political arena by giving a speech at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign after receiving the Paul H. Douglas Award for Ethics in Government.
He praised America’s accomplishments but said there is a darker side to progress when politicians peddle resentment and mistrust to preserve the status quo.
“It did not start with Donald Trump. He is a symptom, not the cause,” Mr. Obama said. “He’s just capitalizing on resentments that politicians have been fanning for years.”
He also took a jab at Mr. Trump’s emphasis on the economy, telling the audience to “remember when that recovery started.”
The former president explained he planned on following the precedent set by George Washington “to gracefully exit” the political stage, but speaks now as a citizen.
This is the sort of flame-fanning that we’ve come to expect from high profile democrats in 2018.
Famously, California representative Maxine Waters has called for confrontations against Trump administration officials during public speaking appearances, hoping to see her constituents “form mobs” to harass American conservatives.
