NFL Hilariously Forced to Hire Actors To Play Role of “Football Fans”

The National Football League has dug themselves a hole that no amount of capitulatory stunts can save them from.

Beginning last season with the incredibly offensive protests by San Francisco 49er’s backup quarterback Colin Kaepernick, and continuing this year with members of every NFL team, players have been falsely equating the National Anthem with racial injustice, and protesting their take on the former by interrupting the latter with inexcusable behavior.

Kneeling.  Stretching.  Sitting.  Warming Up.  Anything but standing for the song of a nation that allows them to play a children’s game and make an exorbitant amount of money to do so.

This is clearly offensive, not only to Americans with a background in the military, but for any U.S. citizen who has any sense of pride in any facet of this great nation.

Trending: Art of the Meal

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell showed exactly zero interest is remedying this situation, and, in return, the fans have shown approximately zero interest in the NFL during 2017.  Now, in order to stave off the constant criticism of their immense failure, the NFL is looking to hire actors to play the role of “fans” in Los Angeles – a town cursed with both the Chargers and a number of rapidly growing wildfires.  (It’s a toss-up which is more detrimental).

“So, what does Los Angeles produce better than sports fans? Aspiring actors! And FOX is seeking them to be Rams fans for Sunday’s pregame festivities, according to a casting call online:

“‘Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on Sunday, December 10th in Los Angeles, California.’

“‘Producers are seeking the following types:’

“‘We’re looking for LA’s biggest NFL fans to be a part of #NFLSunday’s Los Angeles Rams vs. Philadelphia Eagles Pre Game Show!’

“‘Calling all LA Rams fans!’

“‘To audition for a role in the upcoming NFL Sunday pre-game show, check out the casting call breakdown below.'”

This is beyond pathetic, but, then again, so are these misguided and offensive protests occurring week in and week out with little to no effort off-screen to right the wrongs that these NFL players are supposedly “protesting”.

The shameful practice got a shot in the arm earlier this season when President Trump weighed in, calling for anthem kneeling protesters to be benched or fired.  This caused the protest to spread like wildfire, (sorry, L.A.), involving an inordinate amount of players who have fallen for the liberal “resistance” schtick.
