The hypocrisy of the NFL has new reached extraordinary levels in the saga of the National Anthem and insubordinate athletes.
Now, as President Trump has weighed in on the subject, admonishing the NFL owners and do-nothing commissioner of the league in a single speech, players across the nation are kneeling now in protest of the President…something that should anger the Black Lives Matter domestic terror organization.
But will it?
Colin Kaepernick’s purported reason for kneeling during the anthem was to protest the supposed unfair treatment of African Americans at the hands of the U.S. police force. Despite an undeniably large cache of evidence to the contrary, this anti-American “protest”, (read: Publicity stunt), spread like wildfire throughout the league, specifically among athletes in similar situations to Kaepernick’s. Namely, those who otherwise would haves sportscasters wasting their breath on them.
Trending: Fuel for Thought
Now, however, this latest spate of kneelers are ignoring Kaepernick’s intended purpose to commandeer the action for their own hatred of the President, whom is certainly perceived as some sort of supreme bigot by a great many of the participating man-children.
Black Lives Matter has once again had a “symbol” of their cause stolen out from underneath them.
“Over a dozen members of the Ravens and Jaguars knelt during the playing of the national anthem at Wembley Stadium. In addition, for the first time an NFL owner took part in the protests. Jaguars Owner Shad khan, locked arms with his players as they stood on the sidelines:
“The Ravens, who, prior to President Trump’s speech in Alabama on Friday night where he strongly criticized NFL players who protest the anthem, had never had a player participate in the protests, had seven players protest in London on Sunday. According to ESPN, the players who protested were: ‘linebackers Terrell Suggs, C.J. Mosley and Za’Darius Smith, wide receiver Mike Wallace, safety Tony Jefferson, and defensive backs Anthony Levine and Lardarius Webb. ‘
“Also according to ESPN, ‘Many of the Jaguars held hands along the sideline, and about 10 took a knee including cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye, defensive ends Calais Campbell and Yannick Ngakoue, defensive tackle Malik Jackson, safety Tashaun Gipson, and running back Leonard Fournette. Ravens coach John Harbaugh and Jaguars coach Doug Marrone and owner Shad Kahn stood with the players during the anthem.’
“’The kneeling players stood for the singing of the U.K. national anthem.’”
The real question now will be whether or not Black Lives Matter will condemn the actions of these NFL players who have appropriated their cause, which is an enormous no-no in the world of liberal crybabies.
Otherwise, BLM may be forced to admit that their “cause” was little more than a ruse to designed to create dangerous, angry, and racist situations that could be used to shame supporters of the American police force.
