The attack at Orly Airport in France was actually linked to a shooting earlier in the day. A Muslim man shot a police officer in the head before carjacking a nearby motorist and driving to the Orly airport. At the airport he was shot and killed after stealing a soldiers rifle. He was a radical Muslim and was known to authorities as a repeat criminal offender.

A new article at Politico asks if Democrats are “becoming extremists?” No, they’ve been led by extremists since the Bush years and the rank-and-file have now embraced that extremism.

Even legal experts who aren’t supportive of President Trump’s policies think that the recent court opinions on the immigration travel ban are highly suspect.

I am the supreme law of the United States. Originally comprising seven articles, I delineate the national frame of government. My first three articles entrench the doctrine of the separation of powers, whereby the federal government is divided into three branches: the legislative, consisting of the bicameral Congress; the executive, consisting of the President; and the judicial, consisting of the Supreme Court and other federal courts. Articles Four, Five and Six entrench concepts of federalism, describing the rights and responsibilities of state governments and of the states in relationship to the federal government. Article Seven establishes the procedure subsequently used by the thirteen States to ratify it. I am regarded as the oldest written and codified constitution in force of the world.
