Ugh. First the left complained that the GOP’s healthcare bill would “kill people;” now they’re complaining because it would lead to more births. Seriously.

The GOP leadership’s push to replace Obamacare with their version of a comprehensive healthcare plan is President Trump’s first true test of his leadership. President Trump is already doing what Obama chose not to do – he’s reaching out and listening.

The real challenge on trade will be Germany… not China.

Germany is abusing the world trade system in a way that China and Mexico are not. Whatever may have been the case in the past, China is not depending on an undervalued renminbi to prop up its exports; if anything, China is worried that its currency will fall too low. And globally, Mexico is running a trade deficit—though like most countries, it has a surplus with the United States. By contrast, Germany’s policies in Europe contribute to a massive undervaluing of the euro, and German exporters are therefore able to enjoy huge international sales that, without the currency distortion, they could not achieve.

“We thought of the tea party as a set of several intersecting forces that were leveraging each other and helping to build each other’s clout to change and use the Republican Party,” she said. Self-organizing grass-roots groups, top-down professional advocacy and money groups, such as FreedomWorks and Americans for Prosperity, along with right-wing media, swirled together to make the movement a success, according to Skocpol. It remains to be seen if the climate on the left will prove to be hospitable for the growth of a similarly effective movement.

New EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt is absolutely right about carbon dioxide.

Liberals have won another sad victory, and our colleges and our nation will be all the poorer for it.

There is a way to stop a North Korean Missile Attack and the USA and Japan can do it together.

We’ve always been at WAR with Eastasia. This is a must-read blog from Errata Security that uncovers some of the behind the scenes issues in our current tension with the East.

Why do so many conservative Christians feel like a persecuted minority?

Sad liberals are so downtrodden that they are turning to Television to drown their sorrows.

I am the supreme law of the United States. Originally comprising seven articles, I delineate the national frame of government. My first three articles entrench the doctrine of the separation of powers, whereby the federal government is divided into three branches: the legislative, consisting of the bicameral Congress; the executive, consisting of the President; and the judicial, consisting of the Supreme Court and other federal courts. Articles Four, Five and Six entrench concepts of federalism, describing the rights and responsibilities of state governments and of the states in relationship to the federal government. Article Seven establishes the procedure subsequently used by the thirteen States to ratify it. I am regarded as the oldest written and codified constitution in force of the world.
