New Poll Shows America’s Hope of Investigation into Clinton’s Russia Ties

Hillary Clinton and her band of democratic alarmists have been stoking the fires of a hare-brained conspiracy that Russia and President Donald Trump have a clandestine relationship for months.

The rumors began circulating during the bizarre 2016 U.S. Presidential election as Clinton attempted to convince the American voting populace that Donald Trump was deeply embedded in nefarious business dealings with the Russian government, and that he would certainly use these mysterious, unproven relationships to undermine the United States if elected.  Obviously, this tactic failed, but it spawned an unwarranted witch hunt for connections between the Kremlin and the White House that continues to this very day.

Then, CNN and other liberal media organizations ran a story, first picked up by clickbait connoisseurs Buzzfeed, that claimed Vladimir Putin was blackmailing Donald Trump with information gleaned by Russian prostitutes.  The story was of perverse and unsanitary sexual acts that the President of The United States supposedly engaged in during visits to Moscow.  Of course, this unverified story was immediately denied by both Trump and the Russian government, and the liberal news outlets that published the phony report were left desperately trying to remove their feet from their mouths.

Now, it seems that the American people are growing weary of Clinton’s ridiculous rumor mongering, and are hoping for an investigation into the former Secretary of State’s ties to the Russian government.

“Voters are closely divided on the importance of Congress investigating whether Russia interfered with the last election, but if it does, they think the Clintons’ ties to the Russians should be part of the probe.

“A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters think Congress should expand its investigation of any possible ties between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. Forty-five percent (45%) say Congress’ time would be better spent dealing with economic and other policy issues instead. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

“However, 52% believe Bill and Hillary Clinton’s private dealings with Russian officials should be included in the FBI and congressional investigation of the Trump campaign. Thirty-five percent (35%) disagree, but 13% are not sure.”

Hillary Clinton has made quite the name for herself in recent years, with an enormous trove of scandalous campaign emails being published by whistleblower website Wikileaks.   The emails painted a picture of one of history’s most corrupt American politicians, who was desperate to win the presidency at any cost, including collusion between her campaign and the DNC that eventually led to the dismissal of Chairwoman Debbie Wassermann Schultz.

Given Clinton’s abysmal public perception, it comes as no surprise that Americans would believe her capable of cozying up to the Russians for personal political gain.  A history of such behavior is undeniable.
