Nearly Five Dozen Democrats Voted for Trump’s Impeachment Today

From the very moment that Donald Trump became President last January, the democrats have been hoping to remove him from office.

Actually, that is slightly inaccurate.  Technically, the first call for the impeachment of Donald Trump came 3 days before his inauguration, demonstrating a desperation within the democratic party that is equally bratty and pathetic.

In the ensuing year, We The People have been forced to endure a number of attacks on Trump and his supporters, both literally and figuratively.  The democrats and their “resistance” rapscallions have refused to yield even an inch to the President, whose economy is booming and under whom the nation is prospering.  There is no vision on the left, no “big picture” sensibility.  Instead, we are left with pedantic and petulant rants and raves regarding their personal feelings about Donald Trump the man, not the politician.

Today marks an even lower point in this relationship between Trump and the radical left, however, as 58 congressional democrats actually voted to impeach the President while Rep. Al Green held our government hostage to vote on his measure.

“The House of Representatives overwhelmingly rejected an attempt to impeach President Trump after a liberal Texas congressman forced a vote on his effort.

“Democratic Rep. Al Green, who has repeatedly called for the president’s removal, introduced two articles of impeachment against Trump on Wednesday.

“But lawmakers immediately voted to effectively kill his resolution, with 364 voting to table it and 58 Democrats voting to move ahead.

“In a dramatic speech on the floor ahead of the vote, Green called Trump ‘unfit’ for office and accused him of ‘high misdemeanors.’

While the tactic itself is vile, it is nothing new for the angry and hate filled liberals among us.

Throughout Trump’s fledgling presidency, we have endured a great many frivolous and litigious actions from the democratic party who so vehemently oppose the President and his “America first” agenda.  This wholesale “resistance” to the Commander in Chief has had unintended and violent consequences as well, spurring on a number of chaotic incidents in the U.S. in which radical leftist agitators have committed horrific acts of domestic terrorism simply to voice their disapproval of the American conservative majority.

Without an effective and immediate makeover, there is little chance of the democratic party avoiding a full scale descent into neo-Fascism; something that has been hinted at in earnest during the riots of Berkeley, California beginning in February.
