Mueller’s FBI Raid Overreach Lambasted By Trump Attorney

News of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s severe investigatory tactics has reached Washington D.C. this week, and not everyone is thrilled about it.

As the left continues their whimsical witch hunt to pin some grand Russian conspiracy on the President, Special Counsel Robert Mueller seems hellbent on helping them.  Recently released information from within the investigation reveals that Mueller orchestrated a pre-dawn raid at former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort’s home in hopes of retrieving documents pertinent to the conspiracy theory concocted by the democrats.

The tactic was a brutal one, reminiscent of something you’d see in an organized crime drama, and certainly not necessary.  No one involved in this particular investigation has been anything but helpful, lending an air of arrogance to Mueller’s choice to raid the home of a willing participant.

In reality, it reeks of leftist propaganda.

Now, one of the President’s lawyers is getting involved, admonishing the Special Counsel’s tactics.

“A top lawyer for President Trump slammed the special counsel’s office over the FBI raid of former campaign manager Paul Manafort’s Virginia home, accusing investigators of committing a ‘gross abuse of the judicial process’ for the sake of ‘shock value’ – and employing tactics normally seen ‘in Russia not America.’

“Trump attorney John Dowd leveled the complaints in an email sent to a Wall Street Journal reporter who wrote about the Manafort raid. The email was obtained by Fox News.

“The email reflects Trump’s legal team moving to protect the president, amid speculation that the raid could be part of a broader effort to squeeze Manafort for information on Trump.

“Dowd, in his note, questioned the validity of the search warrant itself, calling it an ‘extraordinary invasion of privacy.’ Dowd said Manafort already was looking to cooperate with congressional committees and said the special counsel never requested the materials from Manafort.”

Trump himself has been forced to tread lightly around the Mueller-led portion of the investigation after previously drawing the ire of the political left with his termination of FBI Director James Comey.

Democrats have been attempting to portray that personnel change as proof of a conspiracy to the throw the proverbial dogs off of the scent of purported Russian collusion.  In reality, Comey’s job had been on the line for some time over his mishandling of the Hillary Clinton email probe during 2016’s bizarre election.

If the President were to attack Mueller specifically, or even fire him, the American political left would likely throw a collective temper tantrum and again demand Trump’s head on a platter.
