The mainstream media’s liberal bias has been completely exposed in recent days, as a number of White House leaks have been broadcast for the world to see.
These leaks have been the bane of President Trump’s existence during these last few weeks, as a number of White House staff members have been eliminated and isolated in hopes of discovering the rat at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Among those who found themselves unemployed during Anthony Scaramucci’s short-lived purge of possible double agents was Reince Priebus, the White House Chief of Staff and former RNC chair.
Even after the high profile dumping of Priebus, the leaks continued to flow, stifling the President’s ability to move forward with his promised agenda. Now, in an effort to finally put an end to this informational warfare, Attorney General Jeff Sessions is going after leakers and the journalists who exploit them for their own personal fame and fortune.
At least one such liberal mainstream media figurehead is already planning to defy the federal orders on the subject, openly tweeting his opposition to the nation’s top cop.
“NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ moderator Chuck Todd said on Friday that he would ignore any subpoena the Department of Justice issues him if the agency pursues media outlets in its investigation of leaks.
“‘If DoJ media source threat is real (I assume it’s not; just a show presser to please WH) then I look forward to ignoring that subpoena,’ Todd wrote to his 1.79 million followers.
“Todd’s declaration comes after Attorney General Jeff Sessionsannounced on Friday a government-wide crackdown on leakers. Sessions warned might target the media and ask for sources to be revealed. The investigation will include a review of the Justice Department’s policies on subpoenas for media outlets that publish sensitive information. ”
Todd’s “resistance” comes at a time in which the President and his administration are under attack not only from the left, but from turncoat republicans in Congress as well.
What many of these so-called “public servants” are seemingly forgetting is that We The People elected President Trump to achieve certain extremely valuable goals. Healthcare reforms, immigration control, and national security are the highest priorities on that list, currently, and we will not rest until the Commander in Chief is allowed to work fruitfully on these issues. This “resistance” to the President must end, and it must end sooner rather than later if Congress and the media hope to keep their jobs.
