MSNBC Host Wonders if Trump is Trying to Provoke a Terrorist Attack “For His Own Gain”

MSNBC has got to rein in their “talent.”

While Thomas Roberts is most assuredly a liberal, he’s not often the first person you think of when asked about the most hateful, leftist hosts at MSNBC. That might change if he continues on his current trajectory. On Sunday Roberts has accused President Trump of trying to provoke a terrorist attack “for his own gain” politically. I kid you not.

Roberts made the comments first when speaking with Atlanta’s Democrat Mayor Kasim Reed on Saturday and then again later in the day when speaking with Democrat leader Howard Dean. Neither man made any effort to push back on Roberts’ theory, though Dean just chalked up Trump’s comments to incompetence.

Roberts to Kasim Reed: “So let’s not be PC about this. Is the president trying to provoke a domestic terrorist attack with this Twitter rant only to prove himself right?”

Roberts later to Howard Dean: “We don’t know more about the three suspects, Howard, but we do know that the president found that inappropriate of the mayor and went after him saying at least seven dead and 48 wounded, and the mayor of London says there’s no reason to be alarmed, and he also said we have to quit being politically correct, get down to the business of security for our people, if we don’t get smart it is only going to get worse.’ I asked this of Mayor Reid, but seems like the president is trying to provoke something that he can politicize more for his own gain in America. do you feel that way?”

Seriously, someone needs to have a conversation with Thomas Roberts about reining in his conspiracy theories and being very careful about accusing the President of attempting to provoke a terrorist attack without any evidence.
