Mothers Day: Everyone Profits from Sold Baby Body Parts Except the Mother

How does the brain of a four-month-old freshly aborted fetus acquired and delivered via FedEx to medical researchers at Temple University?

What happens once researchers receive a package, for example, containing the liver of a four-month-old male fetus and the blood of its mother, a 23-year-old Hispanic woman weighing 145 pounds?

The following 10 steps explain how a baby’s body parts and its mother’s blood make it from an abortion clinic to the hands of “medical researchers,” based on documents obtained from StemExpress. StemExpress is a fetal tissue procurement company under investigation by the House Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives.

Step 1. RESEARCHERS ORDER FROM MENU OF BABY BODY PARTS

Researchers order fetal tissue by selecting from a detailed menu of baby body parts on StemExpress’s website. They select quantity, age of the fetus, and the preferred transport and shipping method.

The menu includes eyes, ears, tongue, brain, scalp, heart and spinal cord.

Step 2. STEM EXPRESS SENDS A LIST OF ORDERS TO ABORTION CLINICS

StemExpress processes the order and sends a list of ordered parts to technicians at various partnering abortion clinics. In promotional materials on StemExpress’S website, abortion clinics are promised a “financial benefit” if they partner with StemExpress by allowing technicians to harvest and ship baby body parts.

Step 3. TECHNICIAN DETERMINES WHICH WOMEN WILL BE ASKED FOR THEIR BABY’S BODY PARTS

A StemExpress technician reviews the list of ordered baby body parts, and consults with clinic staff to determine which women scheduled for abortions that day are carrying the type of fetus needed to supply researcher requests. Abortion clinic staff plan to approach these specifically targeted women when they come into the clinic to have an abortion.

Step 4. THE CHOSEN WOMAN DECIDES WHETHER TO CONSENT

Technicians or clinic staff approach the targeted women, asking if they’d be willing to donate their aborted fetus to medical researchers. If these women agree, they sign a consent form, which states: “I agree to donate the tissue from the abortion and/or miscarriage, and a blood sample if needed, as a bodily gift to be used for the advancement of medical science.”

Step 5. THE ABORTIONIST KILLS THE BABY; TAKING IT OUT IN PARTS

After the mother agrees to donate the remains of her baby, she is taken into a room where an abortionist pulls it out of her womb, piece by piece, and puts the remains into a container. Any leftover bits are vacuumed out of the womb to ensure the continued health of the woman. In some cases her blood is drawn for use by the researchers.

Step 6. TECHNICIAN DISSECTS THE FETUS

A StemExpress technician picks through the petri dish and jars of remains for the desired parts or tissue, which can be a difficult task, depending on the researcher’s request and the state of the baby body parts.

Step 7. TECHNICIAN PACKS UP THE ORDERED PARTS

The StemExpress technician places the baby body parts in a sealed container or bag, packed with ice in a Styrofoam box, which is then shipped to the researchers who placed the order. One set of instructions reads:

“Place completed Procurement form on top of the Styrofoam box. Tape the cardboard box shut. Adhere the FedEx shipping label to the top of the cardboard box.”

Step 8. STAFF NOTE THE PHYSICAL FEATURES OF MOTHER AND BABY

The technician and abortion clinic staff fill out paperwork detailing the characteristics of the aborted baby and its mother. Information noted describes the weight, height, and ethnicity of the mother, and the sex and gestational age of the fetus.

Step 9. TECHNICIAN DROPS OFF PACKAGE OF BABY PARTS

Once the baby body parts are packed and ready to ship, the technician either calls FedEx to schedule a pick-up or drops the boxes off at the end of the day. The technicians are instructed: “Always know which FedEx you will be dropping off at and consider traffic.”

Step 10. STEMEXPRESS PAYS TECHNICIAN BONUS PER BABY BODY PART SPECIMEN

Technicians receive a bonus based on the quality of each aborted baby part they secure, package, and ship, in addition to an hourly wage of $10 an hour. More valuable parts, such as a brain, or pair of eyes, earn the technician anywhere from $35 -75 per specimen. Less valuable baby body parts, such as a tongue or scalp, earn technicians between $10- 30 per specimen.

Keep in mind, parents could earn far more, if they sold their baby’s body parts themselves. A fetal brain sells for, $3,340; a baby’s skull matched to upper and lower limbs sells for $595; and the upper and lower limbs with hands and feet sell for $890. Thanks to the Daily Signal, the diagram below visualizes how much each area of a baby’s body is worth:

The House Select Panel on Infant Lives compiled documentation as part of its investigation into the fetal tissue industry after a series of videos released last summer exposed Planned Parenthood’s dealings with companies like StemExpress, alleging their illegal profiting of the sale of baby body parts.

StemExpress cut ties with Planned Parenthood clinics following the release of the videos.

I am the supreme law of the United States. Originally comprising seven articles, I delineate the national frame of government. My first three articles entrench the doctrine of the separation of powers, whereby the federal government is divided into three branches: the legislative, consisting of the bicameral Congress; the executive, consisting of the President; and the judicial, consisting of the Supreme Court and other federal courts. Articles Four, Five and Six entrench concepts of federalism, describing the rights and responsibilities of state governments and of the states in relationship to the federal government. Article Seven establishes the procedure subsequently used by the thirteen States to ratify it. I am regarded as the oldest written and codified constitution in force of the world.
