Misguided Mueller Indicates That Russia Fishing Trip Could Go On For…

The United States may just need to get used to the idea that Robert Mueller is going to find something in his bizarre Russian conspiracy investigation.

It’s been calling a witch hunt and a fishing expedition, and with good reason.  When Robert Mueller was appointed as Special Counsel to investigate the asinine liberal conspiracy theory that Donald Trump is some sort of Kremlin agent, the nation collectively allowed an exasperated sigh to escape their lips.  No one in their right mind truly believes that there is any weight to accusations of Russian collusion, but the left is clinging to their Mueller-led goose chase in hopes of somehow nullifying the results of the 2016 election.

Mueller has, unfortunately for American liberals everywhere, failed to uncover even one iota of evidence that implicates the President in anything.  His Michael Flynn plea deal, that has already been neutered by a potential pardon from the Commander in Chief, had nothing to do with Donald Trump’s election, and is likely nothing more than a scare tactic.

Today Robert Mueller dropped another bombshell on the American nation as well, indicating that he could spend perhaps an entire year continuing to work the “case”.

“White House lawyers are expected to meet with special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s office late this week seeking good news: that his sprawling investigation’s focus on President Trump will soon end and their client will be cleared.

“But people familiar with the probe say that such assurances are unlikely and that the meeting could trigger a new, more contentious phase between the special counsel and a frustrated president, according to administration officials and advisers close to Trump.

“People with knowledge of the investigation said it could last at least another year — pointing to ongoing cooperation from witnesses such as former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos and former national security adviser Michael Flynn, as well as a possible trial of two former Trump campaign officials. The special counsel’s office has continued to request new documents related to the campaign, and members of Mueller’s team have told others they expect to be working through much of 2018, at a minimum. “

This revelation comes as no surprise to those in the U.S. who have watched this already unruly spray-and-pray methodology find zero evidence of Russian collusion with the President.

Of course, the longer Mueller continues to work his case, the more likely it is that his ever-expanding focus will be exploited to deliver some satisfaction to The Resistance rats who have invaded American society.  We have already seen a number of inexcusably aimed inquiries that hope to undermine the President and his staff regardless of their connection to Russia.

In other words, the left has no problem with Mueller spending another year and countless American taxpayer dollars “investigating”, just so long as they find anything that they can disparage the Commander in Chief about.
