The migrant crime spree has spiked 40 percent since 2015 according to a new report.
Does Angela Merkel even care about the migrant crime spree? According to the video below, she has told her German countrymen that they must accept it!
If that translation is accurate, it obviously raises the question of why German voters must accept Angela Merkel or the migrant crime spree.
The Express reports,
Now the true reality is hitting home ahead of next year’s elections as the far right surges in the polls threatening to topple the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) leader Mrs. Merkel.
According to a report by the international policy council the Gatestone Institute, local police in many parts of the country admit that they are stretched to the limit.
The report states: “The rape of a ten-year-old girl in Leipzig, the largest city in Saxony, has drawn renewed attention to the spiraling levels of violent crime perpetrated by migrants in cities and towns across Germany.
“During the first six months of 2016, migrants committed 142,500 crimes, according to the Federal Criminal Police Office. This is equivalent to 780 crimes committed by migrants every day, an increase of nearly 40 per cent over 2015. The data includes only those crimes in which a suspect has been caught.
The Express also quotes a police officer who says the lightness of German punishments encourages crime: “They are used to tougher consequences in their home countries. They have no respect for us.”
While the data represented a forty percent increase in crime in 2016 from 2015, the number of crimes in 2015 was an 80 percent increase over 2014.
With such a dramatic increase, it is not surprising that Germans are publicly protesting.
According to Breitbart, Germans are increasingly fearful for their safety.
The new statistics collected in Germany by pollster YouGov show fear of being a victim of crime in particular public spaces is surging, with women more likely to be afraid than men. Standing out among those Germans most fear is railway stations and subway trains, as well as what the survey termed “large outdoor events” such as festivals and carnivals.
Top German broadsheet newspaper Die Welt reports the German people are conscious of a worsening security situation in their country, with 68 per cent of respondents stating their belief that their safety in public had “deteriorated somewhat or strongly” over the past few years. Again, women were more likely to think the situation had gotten worse — but only by a couple of percentage points.
While women found some areas conspicuously risky — notably parking lots — the greatest demographic gap was by age, with few young people feeling threatened but an increasing number of older Germans more worried. By contrast the most wealthy felt the least worried, perhaps reflecting — as pointed out by Welt — their access to private cars and taxis, while not depending on night-busses, public parking lots, and train stations.
Angela Merkel has taxpayer-funded security to protect her. She can tell the German people to “accept” the crime wave brought about by her policies, while she stays safe.
