There’s a new sheriff in Washington D.C. these days, and the delusional democrats are having a difficult time settling in to the populist game plan.
Of course, there’s the “resistance”, a “movement” in the loosest possible definition of the term. These borderline traitorous, anti-Trump forces are working so viciously behind the scenes to delegitimize The Donald that, at times, their anger and hatred bubbles to the surface in unprecedented violence. Take, for instance, the double whammy from a year ago after Kathy Griffin spent untold resources to create a lifelike decapitated Donald Trump to pose for professional photos with, followed just days later by the attempted mass murder of the entire GOP charity baseball team.
The madman responsible for that rampage certainly heard the dog whistle that Griffin blew, and, since that time, the left hasn’t slowed down their nasty narrative one bit.
While things are slightly more civil in Congress than they were on that baseball diamond, the democrats are certainly working to obstruct the will of the people by lopping off their conduit, President Trump, at the knees.
Remember democrats , America chose Trump…not Congress.
Now, as the left has constantly dragged their feet throughout the legislative process, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is calling enough of their shenanigans.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Tuesday that he’s canceled the chamber’s traditional August recess, citing Democrats’ “obstruction” and the need to pass spending bills.
In a brief written statement, he said: “Senators should expect to remain in session in August to pass legislation, including appropriations bills, and to make additional progress on the president’s nominees.”
McConnell’s announcement had been expected, as he’s faced pressure for weeks from fellow Republicans to keep members in session over the hot summer stretch.Their appeal focused on the need to wrap up spending bills and confirm President Trump’s nominees to various positions. McConnell cited exactly that in his statement Tuesday.
“Due to the historic obstruction by Senate Democrats of the president’s nominees, and the goal of passing appropriations bills prior to the end of the fiscal year, the August recess has been canceled,” McConnell said.
And while I am certainly a fan of limited government, I’m also a firm believer in a functional government. If this hard-knock measure is what it takes to get work down on Capitol Hill, so be it.
The most troubling question remaining, however, is how the left will react to the news, and whether or not this will teach the democrats properly to come to heel, or if this will initiate their often-used Plan B: Sticking their fingers in their ears and yelling “LALALALALA” at the top of their lungs.
