Maxine Waters has certainly been proficient in keeping her name on the tips of Americans’ tongues as of late, usually through her use of bombastic language and fervor against President Trump.
Waters is a democratic Representative from California, a state whose entire political ethos has been so fervently anti-Trump that they have considered both seceding from the United States and splitting the state into three separate entities with borders drawn down primarily political lines. Maxine Waters’ pure democratic fury against Trump and the conservative base closely mimics the fanaticism that has been previously displayed by Californians.
Now, just weeks after calling for Trump supporters to be confronted in the streets by “mobs”, hoping to make them feel “unwelcome” in America, Waters has received a formal complaint from the FEC over unrelated campaign violations.
Trending: Science is Settled
According to Fox News, “California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters is facing a new complaint about an obscure fundraising tactic that rakes in thousands from state politicians in exchange for being listed on her slate mailers — this time, involving supporters of a former Los Angeles mayor defeated in the June gubernatorial primary.”
The National Legal and Policy Center filed the complaint with the Federal Election Commission late last week.
“Since the commission has given federal campaigns broad discretion involving slate mailers it is imperative the issues cited in this complaint are fully investigated and all penalties and fines that may result from a finding that the Citizens for Waters campaign was in violation of the statutes cited should be applied in full,” read the complaint.
As Americans become increasingly agitated over the abuses of the Washington establishment and the swamp-dwellers within, Maxine’s mischief will likely not sit well as we head into the upcoming election cycles, and could possibly be one of the lynchpins in the entire “blue wave” theory being purported by the democrats.
