Hillary Clinton’s campaign is having trouble finding an individual who can effectively mimic her Republican opponent as she prepares for the upcoming presidential debates, according to Campaign Manager Robby Mook.

“It’s very hard to find someone to mimic the reckless temperament and the hateful instincts and divisive instincts of Donald Trump,” Mook told CNN’s Dana Bash on Sunday.

“Preparing for a debate with him is a challenging task, but Secretary Clinton is looking forward to the debate,” Mook added. He suggested the debates will give Americans an opportunity to see how Clinton’s “steady leadership” compares with Trump’s “very reckless temperament.”

This is weird.

If the report is true, it means that the regressive Left can’t even imagine what Donald Trump might say on the issues. No one can role play Donald Trump to help Hillary practice to debate Donald Trump.

That means that they don’t know the issues that attracted millions of voters to give him the nomination.

That means also that they are unsure what weak points Hillary has that would be attractive to Donald Trump as places to attack.

After months of campaigning, giving copious material at rallies, debates, and interviews, they aren’t able to put together a mock-Trump for Hillary to practice on?

There is more going on here than Trump’s “reckless temperament,” “hateful instincts,” and “divisive instincts.” With Hillary’s money she could afford to have Donald Trump’s method and message comprehensively analyzed.

Is it possible that Donald Trump’s exposure of the oligarchy and his repudiation of political correctness is so deeply alien to what Democrats expect that they are in denial? It is as if they still can’t grasp the fact that Donald Trump has won the support of millions of Americans speaking against open immigration, for border security, and against murderous foreign policy. Nor can they acknowledge that Hillary is open to many plausible accusations.

Donald Trump is unthinkable to Democrats and they don’t know how to prepare for him.
