There is a dirty secret living deep within the wretched recesses of the the liberal American playbook, and it is rearing its ugly head vociferously in 2018.
The secret is discrimination, and it is being exuded by the progressive posses of modern America through the practices of tribalism and segregation. Certainly, this is a bold claim, so allow me to explain.
Progressive politics are a bitter pill to swallow, and I don’t mean that in any sort of opinionated, political way. I mean that in a purely realistic manner. It is far more difficult to convince large swaths of people, let alone confident Americans, that they will never reach a point in which they have perfected a system. We mustn’t ignore that this is precisely what progressivism is: The idea that, no matter how flawless a system is, it must continue to change.
This works for some big-ticket items, such as healthcare, where we need to whittle away at the indiscretions of the past to push onward into the future, but for things like the Second Amendment, which has already been subject to a wild and controversial 240 year history, we have already reached our best practice. And, thanks to liberalism and angry, progressive tribalism, we’ve gone too far now, and are losing the freedoms of the right to bear arms at a rapid pace.
Seeing as it is so difficult to convince large contingents of Americans to get on board with the progressive, “never stop changing” ethos, the left must divide their constituents into tiny, manageable demographic sets in order to conquer their political sovereignty. Think of just how wild the transgender movement became when Barack Obama attempted to galvanize their support ahead of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 embarrassment.
Now, these liberal segregationists are receiving a judicial thumbs up from courts in New York City, (where else?), and it has patriots around the nation absolutely furious.
A Manhattan judge ruled Wednesday that there’s nothing “outrageous” about throwing the president’s supporters out of bars — because the law doesn’t protect against political discrimination.
Philadelphia accountant Greg Piatek, 31, was bounced from a West Village watering hole in January 2017, just after Trump took the oath of office, for wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap, according to his lawsuit over the incident.
“Anyone who supports Trump — or believes in what you believe — is not welcome here! And you need to leave right now because we won’t serve you!” Piatek claims the staff of The Happiest Hour on West 10th Street told him after he and his pals complained about the rude service they were getting from a bartender.
Political discrimination is now legal precedence in The Big Apple, officially. (It may have always been “okay”, but now we have proof of concept).
And the left wonders why some Americans are concerned about the possibility of a New Civil War…?
