State of The Union

Liberal CBS Unable To Deny The Power Of POTUS’ First SOTU

Last night marked a momentous occasion in the history of President Donald Trump, as he delivered a blistering State of The Union address to our great nation.

Trump was not only boisterous, but funny, compassionate, and brutally honest as well.  While the liberal mainstream media spent hours leading up to the event pushing Russian conspiracy theories, and then inventing their own controversies over the First Lady’s choice to arrive earlier than the President, the moment would not be dampened by their leftist lunacy.

Even the “resistance” was calm and subdued, with the Antifa twerps of 2017 seemingly crawling back under whatever rock they originally emerged from some 18 months ago.  It was President Trump’s night, through and through, and he certainly did not disappoint.

The wide ranging speech tackled not only the vast achievements of the first year of the Trump Era, but set forth a vision for the future of America that lived up to the hype.  Earlier in the the day on Tuesday, we were promised a “new American moment”, and by the time 10:30pm EST rolled around we were not disappointed.

Trending: Science is Settled

Even the thoroughly liberal CBS News outlet was forced to admit that Trump nailed it after Americans heartily voiced their approval in a number of polls conducted by the mainstream stalwart.

“Three in four Americans who tuned in to President Trump’s State of the Union address tonight approved of the speech he gave. Just a quarter disapproved.

“Eight in 10 Americans who watched tonight felt that the president was trying to unite the country, rather than divide it.  Two-thirds said the speech made them feel proud, though just a third said it made them feel safer.  Fewer said the speech made them feel angry or scared.

“Nine in 10 Republicans said the speech made them feel proud, while just over half of Democrats said it made them feel angry. Independents who watched the speech – nearly half of whom counted themselves the President’s supporters – tended to approve of the speech, and said it made them feel proud.

“After hearing his State of the Union address, most viewers think the policies they heard tonight would help them personally, though Democrats disagree.”

Furthermore, the CBS polling proved something that the left has been trying to stifle for months:  That the President could very well be responsible for the economic explosion of the last year.

Where democrats have consistently attempted to downplay Trump’s business acumen as a growth factor in the economy, instead believing that this current upward trend comes from Obama’s leftover liberalism, the CBS poll showed a 3% increase in Americans who believe otherwise.
