There has certainly been no shortage of bizarre behavior to report on in the mainstream media as of late, but I think that Kanye West may push CNN and others over the edge.
If we’re being truly honest with ourselves, what we’ve seen from the liberal left is wholly unacceptable. Sure, everyone remembers the Kathy Griffin beheading stunt, but how often do we equate that event with the GOP baseball shooting? We must remember that the two were merely two weeks removed from one another, and that the perpetrator of the latter was an avowed leftist who worked on the Bernie Sanders campaign and belonged to Facebook groups that wished to “hunt” republicans.
They may not be directly connected, but they are not entirely unrelated. It would be a disservice to the safety of our nation to think otherwise.
Now, in another instance of liberal dog whistling, the left is turing on Kanye West as only they can – by using racially charged language to denounce and delegitimize the idea of a conservative, black leader in pop culture.
I must warn you that the forthcoming language is more than a bit disturbing.

Are you kidding me? Is that what we’re reduced to? Taking racial slurs popular with segregationists decades ago and applying them to an obviously free spirit such as Kanye West?
I am wholly appalled by this, as an American, regardless of who is saying it.
Imagine if a Fox News analyst uttered this same sentence about Don Lemon being the “token [African American]” for CNN in primetime? There would be riots. People would lose their jobs.
But, because the left has convinced the nation that they control our social language, Don Lemon can just laugh it off.
James Woods said it best by paraphrasing the network’s slogan itself: “This is CNN”.
